I'm just a sophomore, but I was wondering if Capitol had a very impressive music program as far as a wind ensomble and jazz band?
thanks |

I do not know about the concert band. However, the Cap jazz program is one of the best in the midwest and Jim Stokes is one of the best trumpet teachers among Bill Adam's students. I have been clinician at their jazz festival a couple of times and I have been VERY impressed. |

Yes, Lou Fisher is there. I was working on my master's when he was working on his doctor's degree at Ball State University. He is great player and am sure that he is a very fine big band director. Here is a link about Lou:

He is very impressive.
