Man, I love Wyntons playing. Most of you know this who have read my previous posts. But, for some reason I have developed a disliking for it as of late. As a matter of fact, (not because of Wynton) I have developed a disliking for most jazz music in general, but that is a different story. Something happened to me when I heard his last record on Blue Note, that made me put the CD back in the case, and now it, along with the other Wynton CDs I own, are collecting dust.

The only Wynton record I might buy in the future, will be the one when he records again with Tain, Marcus Roberts, and Bob Hurst. -Max-

Thats really sad to hear man. If you dont mind sharing, why have you developed a disliking for jazz music. Just curious.

Actually, I liked Wynton's "Baroque Duet", with Kathleen Battle. Their unisons were amazing, and their readings of Scarlotti and others were wonderfully full and heartfelt.
