I am the market for getting a new horn and would like to try some out before I decide. Horns I am interested in are, Eclipse, WildThing, Calicchio, and Lawler. I will be moving to Hampton, Va just outside of Norfolk.
If anyone has info on where I can try some of these horns in the area I would be greatly appreciative. As is I am leaning towards a Calicchio S1 with the #2 pipe with some custom things done to it.
Thanks. |

Not sure about the Hampton area but a good place is Chuck Levins Washington Music Center. It's actually in MD. I was just there this weekend and tried out a few different Calicchios. They also had a lot of Bachs, Schilkes, and Yamahas. As far as those other horns go, the only place I know of that has all of those is Northern Brass. Not sure if he has the WT though. Contact Bruce Lee and he can help you out. He posts on this forum all the time.

chops1,
I live in Newport News and have never found any place local that stocks much outside of Bachs and Yamahas.
