I actually live in a semi, and i try to stop my playing after 10pm
so before that i can rip all i want and play the piano etc. But i also dno't start practice until after 10pm cause some people like to sleep in.
sometimes, i find that my noisy neighbours are the ones cranking up the r&b music over there..lol! |

Of course, it is usually more beneficial to practice softly anyway...). But when I want to be softer than usual, I just use a harmon mute......ALA Miles......I think any mute would work un less you are playing real loud anyway. _________________ SMILE!! Bootleg,
You might want to mention for our US friends that a semi is a semi-detached, or duplex house, and not an 18 wheeler with a bunk in the cab. The piano playing might get a bit tricky!

LOL Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering that perhaps that's what happens when one spends too much money on trumpets off of Ebay
At least there's more room in an 18 wheeler than a van. If I go later than 9-9:30 pm I use the silent brass, harom mute, or just warm down very softly. |
