A really close friend of mine who worked many years with me recently got a wonderful surprise. A friend of his recently passed away who was an amateur trumpet player and learned many things over the years from my friend. Out of the blue he was informed that his friend had left a very special custom trumpet for him in his will. Isn't that wonderful?

My mom played trumpet. She died in 1989. When my dad passed in 2019, I had to clean out his house and in it I found her old horn. Rather than sell it it with all the rest of the stuff that went, I kept it, and when the pandemic hit, I got it cleaned up and began to learn how to play it. With some help, from here and in the real world, I've made progress. _________________ -Ed |
