So many of these funky cool bands from the 70's never made it on the radar.
Frankly, I don't think it's a strong enough song with hit song hooks like this:

That was the era when I was in college. A large number of the horn players (and the instructors) were all gaga over Bill Chase. I watched a number of really competent players wreck there chops playing in that style. |

A lot of them didn't get their due. Ten Wheel Drive, Cold Blood, Seawind. The list is long. A lot of good stuff if you dig a little. _________________ Music is a fire in your belly, fighting to get out. You'd better put a horn in the way before someone gets hurt. |

This is my era, and yeah, they're solid players. Having said that, it's called disco, a genre I hatted then and hasn't improved with age.
