Wishing all of you that are involved with the Balanced Embouchure approach steady progress in 2015.
I became aware of BE via this forum in Oct. 2014, the same month that I turned 64. (When I first heard the Beatles tune all those years ago, 64 seemed impossibly far away!) After checking out the website I ordered the book from Valerie. I had decided to try a comeback after laying off for several years due to health problems, and purchased a cornet back in October. I have since also acquired a trumpet. Encountering the BE approach very early in my comeback effort was a Godsend to say the least. I wish such a method had existed back when I first heard "When I'm 64". My progress has far exceeded my expectations in the 3 months or so after starting BE. Still MUCH to learn, of course, but I am very encouraged.
At any rate, have a great year, and stick with it.

Boy, is that the truth. I had those same thoughts. Life moves quickly.
Continued success in your comeback, Alan!
