I used to have one of these but lost it somewhere...It's a nice practice device. Anyone know where I can find one again?

This product was discontinued because when you bring a gun to a knife fight, nothing can reflect that. HA!
Joking aside, good luck in your search, and/or fabrication attempt. |

I don't want the reflector, but I sure do want that ad to frame and hang in my apartment!
ETA: Update: I have printed it out and will be framing it. Hot stuff! _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

Looks like a drum head mounted on a rim, then clipped onto the bell like one of those lesser being bucket mutes. _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |

I believe they were bongo drum heads.
There were two models. One had a round hole cut in it. That was the "Performance Model". The other one was uncut and had a removable piece of foam. I think they referred to that one as the "Practice Model." |

Hi all, I'm Barry in Los Angeles, and I came up with the (Calicchio)
Reflector, an accessory device for the trumpet. It clips to the front of
your bell (like a bucket mute) and makes some of the sound go backwards, so
you can hear exactly what notes you are playing, acting as a monitor for the
player. If you can't find one of these in your local area music store, I
can be reached at 323) 953-4761, and am able to produce this for you. |
