Preference will depend upon how much you use it, and how powerful you need it to be. For example, I cannot get MuseScore to do things that Finale will, things that I need in my arranging work. Therefore, Finale has to be my choice, a choice I made in 1990 with version 1, in moving away from Professional Composer on the Mac. Sibelius has many fine features, and I know many friends who use it. I have so much time invested in Finale that I simply could never switch without having to make up nearly 29 years of learning that I have on Finale. _________________ Dr. Albert L. Lilly, III DM
