I know Mahler sym's have been discussed at length, but my question concerns "Blumine"
The only recording I have of this is Atlanta / Levi.
Chris Martin, sounds FANTASTIC.
Did Gil Johnson do a recording of this?
Any other greats.......

The Chicago/Solti recording is great, but it does not include the Blumine mvt. However, I'm still a sucker for Chicago.

Yes, Gil Johnson recorded the Blumine movement. I have it on LP, I'm not sure if it has ever been issued on CD but it is worth looking for.

Gil Johnson sings in the Philadelphia Orchestra version of the Mahler#1.
I have it on vinyl, it's gorgeous. I don't think it has made it to compact disc.
His was one of the first recordings of the Blumine movement.
