Nice pics. What is that model that appears in the first John Faddis shot?
Is that an Olds? Looks like a heavier receiver. |

Yea, that Jon Faddis shot should be a Schilke S42 with a custom adjustable third valve ring because Jon has large hands. _________________ J. Fowler

Faddis' horn also lacks water-keys.

Faddis was Dizzy's protege and Dizzy's Schilke was key-less too. He simply removed the tuning slide and dumped it out....Meanwhile I would still like to know what the round horn is??? Thanks. kpb |

SupportLiveJazz - Your pic looks like a latter day cornopean. Most I've seen have earlier Stoelzel valves instead of the Perinet valves.
