I agree with jscahoy. You're playing a lot, you're playing high, your lips are physically scarred, and your sound in in the tank. You've abused your chops. If you continue playing like this, you could permanently hurt your chops. You need to take time to heal. And you need to change the way you're playing.

What does your teacher say?
You have no teacher? GET ONE! A good teacher will be able to tell you precisely what to do and what not to do. A buncha guys on the net will almost certainly miss something. |
