|
|
Hi all,
As the title says, I'm sending a horn to a friend in Lithuania to try out. I want to fully insure the item for damage/loss but since it's just a trial, don't want him to pay VAT to receive it or for me to pay customs when it comes back. Is there a way to fill out the customs form so that he won't have taxes added?
thanks in advance!

If you insure the horn , that will show the worth. That figure should jibe with the other forms.
Each country has its own rules, but to avoid VAT, you could check to see if you can send it for repairs. That implies that it will be returned and may waive import costs, but better check on their laws. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird
