Looks like a cornet from the turn of the century (1900). _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

I have already checked horn-u-copia.
I couldn't find any instruments similar to the one in question.
I just don't know where else to look for information. |

Funny thing: that's the first place I checked.
Apparently I skimmed over the one key piece of information that I needed...
Thanks for the help! |

Does anyone know the possible value of such an item. (After cleaning/polishing)
I'm aware that the model is fairly rare. |

I'm sure it's rare.
The problem is, there's not that much of a market for these horns. There's decent number of them floating out there - not necessarily your specific cornet, but cornets from that era. A lady brought one in today. Very similar to yours - but a Wurlizer. There's more instruments out there to buy that people interested in buying them. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet
