|
I recently purchased one of these mutes and like it quite a bit. Last night I was bored on a gig and was looking at the bottom of it. The bottom has an indent that meets up with the body of the mute. I noticed where the indent section and the body meet there are for either spacers, clips, solder...something that must attach the two sections together.
For those of you that own this mute...is this "normal" and is yours like that??? Looks kind of "out-of-place"...never saw one put together like this...and am wondering if I received a defective mute!
I'd appreciate any info you can give me!
Thanks,

Like a little tack-weld holding the brass(?) ring that the mute stands on to the copper part?
Yes, mine has those too, just saw it as "oh, that's how they've attached that then" rather than a flaw, myself? |
