There are all kinds of free online picture storage sites. Just google, (google has one!)

You upload your picture to one of these free sites and then you ask this script to get the actual url, (web site address) with the [img] code.

Here is an example of a picture I store on my website.

If you remove the # it should work.

Good luck,

I was going to say, that's one funky looking horn.

I was also going to say that it's definitely not a Buescher or Olds despite some engraving to that effect because it doesn't look like anything either of those companies produced. I was going to add that there's a definite "Art-Deco" style with it, like those 30's King Liberties, for example (though it's definitely not a King Liberty).

But then Gordon goes and solves it for ya!

(and makes those points fairly moot)

My father obtained a Czech silver trumpet when he was stationed in that area at the cessation of WWII(he traded a carton of Lucky Strikes for it, not a loss for him as he never smoked). It was long and narrow, very similar to the horn illustrated, except the bell wasn't octagonal. Supposedly it was a Bb horn, but it played very sharp. You had to pull the tuning slide out as far as it would go just to get to be acceptable. I played it for a while, but the problem with the tuning resulted in me getting a Holton Collegiate when I was in Jr High. My father donate it and a cornet that he had played when he was in high school to a charity when the family moved to Canada thirty five years ago.
