Hello,
i'm shedding Airegin.
Does someone know great recordings of trumpetplayers playing this tune besides Miles?
I already checked Youtube and found our TH fellow Craig Twedell trading with Adam Loudin. Two wonderful players!
Cheers

*Edited because my memory was faulty*
Worth noting that the second time Miles recorded it (on Cookin') he messed with the form, changing the rhythm of the melody and substituting an interlude during the head. I've found that some people like to play the rhythm that way, rather than the original. So if I'm calling the tune at an informal session, I always make sure to sing the first few bars of the melody so everyone knows which rhythm we're playing. _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet
