Does anyone know of a safe source to find a fairly priced used Schagerl rotary C? I know that's a lot to ask, but I'm curious where you all have been finding these. _________________ Best,

I got mine from the unicorn shop!
But more seriously, they are rare as can be. Just keep an eye out and wait. It took me some 5 years to find my rotary Bb and C (Galileo and Schagerl). It takes patience and also some cunning... why is it being sold (Schagerls do vary from horn to horn) who is selling it, will it be useful for you, etc etc. I saw a couple that made me wary, and ended up buying one from a well known player who's orchestra had a change in MD and repertoire (easy to verify) so he was freeing up some cash before retiring. Made it an easy choice!
cheers
