A question concerning trumpets with the engraved logo of Canadian Brass: who made those instruments actually? Getzen? Jupiter? Are they copies of stock instruments or new constructions tested by Canbrass members?

| My understanding is that they were specially designed by Getzen with input from the guys from the CB. I seem to recall that the designs were renamed when the CB went back to Yamaha. |

I know that Yamaha made horns for them at one time because I am looking at buying one of their C trumpets from a friend now.
As far as for how long, who else, or who makes them now...

I spoke with Fred Mills a few years ago about the Canadian Trumpets and they were made by Getzen. Mr. Mills and Ron Romm had input in how they were made. He said they were a all around trumpet made for most events. Mr. Mills had one with a gap ajustment to them where he could dial in his mouthpieces. They are now made by Yamaha.
