Assuming you've tried and liked a Yamaha Bobby Shew Lead, what's a mouthpiece you liked even better for whatever kind of playing you like the Yamaha for? _________________ Getzen Eterna Severinsen

Because Schilke doesn't make a size 27 mouthpiece.

It's absolutely true. The largest size they make is a 24.
Check out their mouthpiece chart Ace

I should know better but . . he says "custom order" doesn't he? And doesn't he imply from his answer that he ordered and used one? Do you mean that Schilke will not produce that even though it's custom ordered?
Not taking sides, just interested in Schilke's policies toward custom orders. And because, if Schilke would not make one, then how could someone receive and use one? Otherwise . . . _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Any particular reason?
Excuse to safari maybe? (Potentially dangerous question).
To be honest, I'm not crazy on the Shew lead so I'm not really someone the question is directed at to begin with... for the kind of playing you'd use a Shew lead I'd much rather have my Reeves 40/S or 40/ES. |
