You must play much more softly than me I find muted louder- also playing muted trumpet is not really beneficial and some find leadpipe playing to be of value ( your preference ) and as I said I do more work with valves. Full trumpet is cumbersome in a car and I would hate to think of the consequences of a wreck or emergency stop with a trumpet against my lips and perhaps the trumpet against the windshield. Besides this - I really was t trying to convince anyone to use these ???
