IIRC it's an old Hawkes and son (Hawkes being one of the two companies merged to form Boosey and Hawkes)
(Although I very much doubt it's played on one, but that's the prop you see) |

I wonder about the spot of wear by the bell, by where the tips of her left hand fingers are - seems like an odd place for the plating to be worn off.

It's hard to see on that picture but I'm pretty sure there's a brace in there - wouldn't surprise me if it had been resoldered at some point? |
