Hi !
On a Burbank Benge 3X ML, where on the trumpet does it say 3 and where does it say ML ?

During the Burbank era, the bell number was stamped on the bell tail ferrule. However, the #3 was not always stamped, so if there is no number on the ferrule, it is a #3 bell. The bore designation should be stamped on the #2 valve casing on the opposite side from the serial number.
