Looking for a jazz-only teacher in the San Jose area.
Not just any teacher, but specifically an Improv teacher.
Not just a teacher who can teach Improv, but a GOOD Improv teacher.
I've got 30+ years playing so I am not looking for group therapy, range, technique, etc. Strictly improv. Also, I can sit and play with Aebersold CD's on my own, so I'm not looking for that, either.
Thanks! |

Check out Eric Bolvin. He's here on TP all the time. |

Yeah baby. I got to see him once in Chicago in the late '70's. He played with the Jazz Showcase house trio. Willie Pickins pn, Wilbur Ware drms and I don't remember the bass player, maby Steve LaSpina? Blue could bop but he could make you cry with a ballad. (It worked for me) Poignant is the word. |

Which jazz style are you most interested in? Do you have to meet with them in person? I have someone in mind but they don't live nearby. They do Skype lessons. _________________ Richard

Those listed above are good choices-also Joel Berman, excellent trumpet AND trombone player and world class jazz musician. You can find him on Facebook... _________________ '56 Martin Committee Deluxe #2 trumpet
