Hi, I'm doing a project on the physics of trumpet playing for my physics class and I thought I'd drop a message here to see if anyone has any good sources for that?

thanks every one

Mark Minasian submitted a post to the TPIN list recently about the Las Vegas Trumpet Fest. In the paragraph about the Saturday clinics (see the attached link), he mentions the John Harbaugh clinic on the physics of trumpet playing and in a clinic later in the day Charlie Davis mentioned a study that he participated in that came to a similar finding. I find this to be fascinating!

I think this would be a great example to include in the project for your physics class.

Enjoy!

Nick Drozdoff is not only a trumpet player (and a good one), he's also a physics teacher. You can get some very useful information from his site.
