Hi there!

Does someone know more about the Jim New "Manley" Model from his Lead-Line mouthpieces? The model number is A9A-9-L.

Here's the link to this mouthpiece line - http://james-r-new.com/mouthpieces/lead-line-trumpet-mouthpiec.html

Is it similar to a vintage MF mouthpiece (holy grail)?

Thanks a lot and best to you,
Markus

It is similar, but smaller. Especially the hole. Overall a tighter piece.

By the way, the real holy grail was probably the piece MF had as a youngster- who knows where that ended up. A modified Rudy Muck, I believe.
