Hi all! I have a Yamaha 6810s and I'm interested in custom leadpipes. A number of years ago I tried the Blackburn P4 leadpipes, and I really wasn't impressed. They made the horn feel quite stuffy and nearly impossible to play. Any recommendations on other potentially good custom leadpipes?

Ask Jim Becker at Osmun Music - they make very nice custom piccolo leadpipes.

As much as we like to sell our Osmun leadpipes, you might want me to fine tune your current set up. Our precision valve alignments make a huge difference, particularly on high trumpets. I also have some enhancements you might be interested in that target the YTR-6810S. You can email jbecker@osmun.com or better yet schedule an appointment online at www.osmun.com

We look forward to hearing from you.
