I'm guessing as to the reason, but I've noticed that for a couple particular Yamaha models, almost every dealer I can think of is 'back-ordered' on them.
Maybe they sell a lot of instruments over the holidays, or something to do with supply chain issues, or... whatever. Just curious if anyone had any idea what was up or why.

An 8335 Xeno that I wanted on trial was back ordered about five weeks starting late Dec. I didn't try anywhere else. Dealer (WWBW) overnighted it to me when it came in. I sent it back and kept a 8335R that I had ordered and received in mid Dec.
