I'm interested in expanding my collection of instruments and I happened to come across a Frank Holton & Co 2 Valved Bugles. The ad says that it's from the 1940's and its pretty rare. I was wondering if anyone could give me more information about it and what its worth. Here is the link to the ad. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/d/mentor-frank-holton-co-legionnaire-2/6814402156.html

These piston rotar soprano bugles are rather common. This one is pitched in G with the rotar in F. This bugle looks like a ‘1950s issue. It’s probably worth around $50.

Here is some history.
