I've always had my students with mouth injuries use Hydrogen Peroxide to rinse after they brush their teeth. They usually get cut by their braces which I'm sure is not as bad as what you have but it helps the healing process. After brushing, spit out the toothpaste but before you rinse, take a bottle cap of peroxide and swish it around you mouth for 30 seconds or so. It has no real taste and doesn't hurt!! Stay over the sink while you do this. I hope this helps!!!! |
