|
|
Hi all, just joined the forum. I am a returning trumpet player after a hiatus of roughly 10 years.
In the search of a new mouthpiece, I stumbled upon a Schmidt Master 166C which feels much better than a Bach 3C that I have been last time. The narrow room 'hugs' my lips much better. It is a second hand (~20 years) that was sold by someone who quit the trumpet for the French horn.
I tried to find more information about this special piece, but nothing much came up on Google.
Anyone owns this mouthpiece and can describe what 166C is different from a 3C? Much appreciated! |

Thank you for the link.
As I am bad with specifications, would you say that this mouthpiece is more suited for orchestral/brass band or solo play? |
