I didn't see the double buzz mentioned in the encyclopedia, so I'll mention it here. Maybe one of Reinhardt's students discussed this topic with the master at one point? My theory is that flabby chops are the cause, but what do I know? |

Doc talks about that on pages 223 and 224 (#7) of the encyclopedia. He doesn't use the term double buzz, but calls it the "type four rattle". He told me to pull in the lower lip a bit if that should occur. Yes, you are right about flabby chops. |

Thanks Deesson. It's funny that Doc associates the double buzz with upstream players. I guess downstream players weren't supposed to have such issues, or maybe they were more common among upstream players? |
