I've just bought I Can't Say No which was recorded in Sweden in June 2002. The tunes, apart from one original by Bobby, are fairly well known but Bobby's tone (to my ears at least) seems to be even better and warmer than usual -- and that's saying something. Maybe it's Kjell Ohaman's Hammond B3 organ that makes the group sound that little bit different and fatter. Whatever it is, this is certainly a recording all Bobby Shew's fans (and 6310Z players) should add to their collection. |

I have that recording also, as well as the others listed on Bobby's site. It's an excellent recording and as always Bobby just tastefully swings his butt off. You can't have too many Bobby Shew recordings. May he live long and prosper.
