is a music store I happened across while meandering about the web one day...It seems to have nice prices on decent instruments...anybody ever been there before?

Hmm, the prices looked too good to be true, then I saw the make of some of them - Winston - these are someo of those instruments you see all the time on Ebay. Personally I would save the money and go for something a little more reliable and reputable. |

i was speaking only of bagpipes, celtic harp, etc....not brasses...

Bagpipes - and you admit to it??
The great conductor Sir Thomas Beecham was once asked, by a rather posh lady in London, what instrument her son should learn, noting that she didn't like the sound of beginner musicians.
His reply "Madam, without any doubt I recommend the bagpipes."
He then added "they sound just as bad when you have mastered them."

My wife played bagpipes in high school so in her honor I will submit this bagpipe joke.
Question: Why are bagpipe players always walking?
Answer: To get away from the noise. |
