Dear TrumpetHerald'rs,
What makes you trust someone, especially a person you have never met? Does being in a community, even though a virtual one, affect one’s sense of trust? These are some of the questions that we, two researchers in Indiana State University’s School of Business, are contemplating.
We would like to invite you to share with us your experience on TrumpetHerald by filling out a short online survey that takes less than 8 minutes to complete. We will share with you insights into TrumpetHerald members’ opinions on the issue of trust by posting the survey results on the TrumpetHerald website after they have been tabulated.
To take the survey, please click on the link:
http://ayman.indstate.edu/th
As a precaution, we put the survey on a second web server in case one of the servers experiences any technical difficulties: http://www.ayman.org/th
Thanks again for your time and for sharing with us your experience.
Best regards,
Chiaan Chao and Ayman Abuhamdieh

I thought the same thing. Post that kind of stuff in the lounge. I think he put it in mouthpieces too. It might be a valid survey but enough forums on TH offer the appropriate place. |

I'll check out the survey later, but the question hits home with me.
A year ago I offered to send out a new $1000 trumpet to anyone on TH who wanted to sign up for it. There is a virtual community here. At that time ther were aprox 1200 members. There was a limit to what my risk was but it took a certain amount of trust in the members of this community. At that time I may have felt there was more of a sense of accountablilty. Since that time there were some troll issues and that would maybe be in the back of my mind now.
- no one ripped me off though. so th-ers did prove their trustworthness |

Easy in the wrong place issue folks, I'm sure the poster is just trying to make it seem by many. Plus, there is no denying the gear pages are far and away the most frequented here. |

Sorry you don't think the post belongs here but it was my suggestion for the simple reason that those who read only Horn and Mpc posts (such as myself) are the ones most likely to buy and sell in the Market Place. Some of the survey is based on my experiences with the TH MarketPlace - 99% of them good.
