This is one of the “catchiest,” and most beautiful recordings of the song A SORROWFUL MEMORY originally sung by Korean singer Lee Mun Se.
I found this recording on YouTube and am trying to figure out who recorded this. It is NOT Harry James as the title of the video erroneously states.
Any help in identifying the musicians/band is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

It could be a different Harry James, who also played trumpet. |

This other Harry James looked JUST like the other one too. _________________ Martin Bohme Tumultus

Obviously this is not Harry James (or anyone even remotely close). I have no idea who it is. There is nothing impressive about the trumpet performance to me. _________________ HERMOKIWI |

Not sure what is “impressive” to you. Maybe Sergei Nakariakov’s AdAbsurdum?
But the tune is very nice and catchy. Beautiful melody and great take of it by the band.
I was just asking if people know who the band is, not whether they find it impressive or not.
Thanks for your input either way. _________________ Martin Bohme Tumultus

Yes, Sergei Nakariakov's Ad Absurdum is impressive to me. So are things recorded by Harry James. So are a lot of other things. _________________ HERMOKIWI |

If you read the youtube comments it's a Korean trumpet player named Kim Dong-ha. This was mentioned by two different commenters, so maybe that gives it some cred. |
