This is a special shoutout to honor Tim Stewart, Associate Principal Trumpet, of the North Carolina Symphony. He's retiring December 31, 2019 after 45 years in the orchestra. He took two years off to teach during his tenure that started in 1972. Tim is playing on several Chicago Symphony recordings including the Khachaturian Symphony No. 3 with Stokowski. It was made while he was a student at Northwestern. Happy Retirement, Tim!!
