This week's video is the fourth episode in a series called Improv 101, and the third about improvising on the blues. It explains how a typical jazz blues progression is evolved from the basic blues progression, and addresses the question of whether the blues scale is still an appropriate choice for improvising on this chord progression.

Enjoyed the CS Bues Part 3, some speedy information, nice examples and I especially enjoyed the comment about the more straightforwardly bluesey solo being more accessible than less-so explorations. Thanks!

Glad to hear that, and I like the expression 'speedy information'. Part 4 comes out on Tuesday, and Part 5 the following week.
