Can anyone tell me if the new Committee is only available as a large bore horn as on their web page, or do they offer a medium bore horn as well. Thanks.

Right now, only one bore is contemplated. The bell stem and other elements are matched to that bore (there is a lot of precision in this design).

Of course, it was just 7 months ago that BAC Musical Instruments was a small shop building a handful of customs and mostly finishing imports. Given that they have acquired an undocumented trove of material and tooling, sorted through it, established a new workshop, designed and brought to market 3 very serious new horns and are close on a fourth, who knows what the next 7 months will bring.

But for now, the plan is the one bore size, and it sounds like any thing along those lines would be way down the wish list given everything else going on.

Just a reminder to anyone paging through this thread out of interest in maybe getting a new Committee:

This is an arrangement between boutique maker and actual fabricator just like Flip (and all the others) had with Kanstul. These horns are sold through The Martin Brasswind Company, BAC builds them. If looking to order a horn, go to www.martinbrasswind.com for contact information and ordering, not BAC Musical Instruments.
