Chicago regional - Green River lime flavored soda. I drink the diet version.
Comes in 1 liter plastic bottles, though occasionally the regular version appears in glass bottles. Haven't seen that for a while though. _________________ Kevin Mc

I just couldn’t resist. Thank goodness this is winding down or I might have to resort to the great debate ended “because I said so”. |

I grew up in Waukegan Il., not far from the Wisconsin border. I somewhat remember Jolly Good, in our town there was a local bottling company called Glen Rock, we bought that most often became it was cheaper than Coke or Pepsi. _________________ When asked if he always sounds great:

Jolly Good was the best as a kid. They had like a dozen different flavors and were sold in stores individually. Just flat cases of loose cans. We would go to the store and each get to pick 2-3 cans of whatever flavor we wanted. It was like a soda dream world.
Sour Power, Grape, and the occasional Cream Soda. Good times. _________________ Brett Getzen

I worked in a grocery store for a while. I used to get assigned sorting the returned soda bottles in the bottles room. Handling many sticky bottles making the 6 packs consistent for return to the drink vendors, not fun.
However, I always did a good job and did it quickly so I always ended up the first choice. |

Question?
Did anyone ever try 'Rum and TAB' a second time?

KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'. |

I heard of Tab, think sorting random soda bottles in the back of a grocery store, but never bothered to taste it, with or without a mixer. |

Getting back into pedantic mode, it is TaB, not TAB nor Tab, as I spelled it.
Since Coca-Cola replaced it with Diet Coke perhaps rum and Diet Coke is the equivalent? |

Yep, Squirt and Vernon’s, remember them both (I grew up in northern Illinois, had relatives from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan).

Yes, I enjoyed Squirt and can still get it, but haven't seen Wink (which I also enjoyed) for quite a while. |

I have always really liked the flavor of Cherry 7-Up. There used to be a soda called "Slice" that I really liked. _________________ Please join me as well at:

I miss the carbonated Canada Dry Collins Mixer. I used to drink it as a child (just the mix), but would love it now for my Tom Collins. |
