Could you identify the era of this mute?
The label is missing.
It is pretty heavy: 117 g (4 1/8 oz)

Can't really identify the era but I have one exactly like it and the label says
HUMES & BERG
MFG. CO., INC.
East Chicago, Ind

One of my favorites! I've always loved the mica mute and when I saw a vintage one pop up on ebay I pounced.

Thank you for you reply.
As soon I saw it, I pounced too
I immediately loved its sound and put my Soulo cup on sale.

Has anyone played one of the new Mic A Mutes that Humes & Burg still sell? I wonder if they sound the same as the vintage ones-I was thinking up picking one up.
