A friend gave me a 1957 Conn 12b. He was expressing his gratitude for repair I’ve done for him over the years. It is a little beat up but I can fix that. MAN, WHAT A GORGEOUS SOUND IT HAS!!! _________________ Music is a fire in your belly, fighting to get out. You'd better put a horn in the way before someone gets hurt. |

I stumbled across a Getzen Copra Temp last summer. Best I can describe the tone is warm chocolate pudding. Those old copper bells... |

One of my absolute favorites. They even still sound modern. The 22b can be a little tight and bright for modern tastes, but the copper bell on the 12b really darkens the sound up without losing too much high end. |
