I finally got around the watching the DVR of Billy Joel's 100th concert at Madison Square Garden the other night. Besides the great music, one thing that really stood out to me was the backing band he has, especially the saxes and the brass players.

The trumpet player, Carl Fischer, aparently has his own signature artist trumpet that he designed with Warburton. It's apparently a medium bore (.453") horn with a large 5 1/4" bell flare (like I have on my old Conn Director), a modified meduim-style leadpipe, and an ovate tunig slide(?).

I'm curious if anyone has played one of those horns and what it feels like.
