|
|
I have small hands and fingers and when I move my left hand the third-valve slide barely budges. I know there is something that fits inside the finger ring to take p the slack but I can't remember precisely what it's called, so I can't search and find. What is that part called, please? Thanks. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Thanks for this post and the link. I was intrigued and purchased one each from Osmun Music.
You have to print out a ring finger size chart before ordering the proper size. As my finger is 'large' on the chart, there is less material to the adapter. Nevertheless, I really like the third valve ring adapter. I feel more secure with less 'finger wobble'. It's a keeper and I'm getting more for other horns.
I didn't like the first valve saddle adapter, but it's nice to have a choice. At $10 each, it's cheap to test these out. If my ring size were smaller, I'm sure I might like it better. _________________ Matt Finley https://mattfinley.bandcamp.com/releases

I have the Gapper on three of my most often used horns. Great solution!
