Not currently, but I have, Monette BL, lightweight, with a Bach 43. _________________ When asked if he always sounds great:

Yup. Have since high school. B11 for classical and wind band, B2 for jazz. 1990s blanks, pre-Prana, no idea about the STCs or slaps or any of the other nomenclature. But they work wonderfully with my Bach Strad, which is a 72 bell with a 25 reverse leadpipe. The B11 in particular takes that 72 bell to nigh-cornet depths of richness. And the intonation is spotless.
I'd say they work even better on my Kanstul 991, though. I've been so pleasantly surprised by how great that horn is. _________________ 1932 King Silvertone cornet

I'm playing one with a Bach Commercial Trumpet. Does that count? |

Yes. A C2S3 with my BACH 239 CL and that is great. But I needed some time to adapt ( I also play a B2S3 with my Bb horns, not Strads, and it worked immediately, no adaptation troubles...So...) _________________ S’il n’en reste qu’un je serai celui là (Victor Hugo)

I played a C2MS3 with my Bach Chicago C and a B2S5 with my 18037. If you are interested in trying Monette mouthpieces I highly recommend that you work with Monette to figure out what is likely to be a good set up for you. |

Yes, on both Bb and C. B3S3 and C3S3, both resonance classic. Bb is 19037 and C is the 229. |

I have a Monette Tradition Plus 6 that I use with an old 37 that seems to work quite well. Really like the Bach mouthpiece I always needed and wanted but could never find. Of course, it's 4x the Bach price, so it should be better. |

Did for about three years, B4L and B6 with the Strad in the signature. Switched to GR and finally to AR. Just described the experience in the GR65 thread last night (don’t know how to connect threads). _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence
