|
|
I’m trying to restore a vintage solotone-style mute that someone covered with house paint. I have it stripped, reassembled and repainted but, in the process, I damaged the hollow tube that runs through the center. Any suggestions on how I can find or fashion a replacement.
(FYI, I tried the “new” mute without the tube and it sounds terrible!) _________________ Jim Hatfield
