I just watched the entire video (play it at 2X speed & listen carefully!).
I found the long segment about tongue usage interesting. I think an important aspect that was shown briefly but without much discussion was the MOVEMENT of the player's throat (below the rear of the jaw and near the neck) that occurs in conjunction with using the tongue for the AW and EEE syllables.

KNOW (see) what the next note is BEFORE you have to play it.
PLAY the next note 'on time' and 'in rhythm'.
Oh ya, watch the conductor - they set what is 'on time'. |
