I am considering purchasing a Getzen Eterna 895 flugelhorn manufactured in 71/72. It's in good shape, but I have no idea what a reasonable price would be. Any suggestions? |

Have you checked Amazon, eBay and other web sites? There's a sticky thread about internet dealers, if you need any guidance. https://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77366
Compare the prices and conditions of the horns you can find to the one you're considering. Prices float. Free Market and all that rot. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Obviously condition is the most important determinant for price. I would expect that $1,000 should be a ballpark figure.
Also these early Getzen flugels had a leadpipe with a built in receiver, so that only short shank mouthpieces work. You can purchase a standard leadpipe, if that is an issue. _________________ Bach Strad 72*
