Which album is that on?
So far I'm only finding that tune on recordings by The Jazz Crusaders.
Here's a big band rendition of that same tune by the John La Barbera Big Band.

I've been unable to find a Yellowjackets version anywhere, only the Jazz Crusaders. My YJ searches are all coming up blank. _________________ "I'm an engineer, which means I think I know a whole bunch of stuff I really don't."

No sweat. And thanks for turning me on to a cool tune.
I took special interest in this post since I was an early fan of the Yellowjackets, even saw them live a couple of times. Unfortunately I never saw the Crusaders.
Good luck on your search. _________________ "I'm an engineer, which means I think I know a whole bunch of stuff I really don't."
