Any change in the mouthpiece will change the way the horn plays. Unless there’s some specific goal you’re trying to reach by changing backbores and throats, I’ll argue it’s not worth your time or money.
FWIW, I use a Stomvi 3CVR with a 5 backbore on my C. I use the DaVinci backbore on my Bb. For me, it makes a difference that I prefer - the resistance and intonation is just a touch nicer with the 5 backbore. _________________ Stomvi Master Titanium Bb
